Mother's day 2013/ Lets Get Sketchy DT Reveal

Hello Scrappy friends
Happy Monday! Today I have to share with you a new challenge and my layout I created for Lets Get Sketchy week 5 challenge, it's kind a different this week, we have to create a layout inspired by this ad ( picture below), this is such a fun challenge! Hope you get inspired and play along with us!

I started with the prima paper for my background, then I cut a big triangle with black cardstock and the green paper from recollections and layered them together, I also added some modeling paste with stencil for some texture into the background and some on the black paper.
I also added a doily and layered papers behind the photo, then I added some black trims and some sticker lace behind the black trim also, then added some flowers from michaels and a metal embellishment with the lady on it, I forgot what its called lol, but its from recollections, then I added that green ribbon lace. for my title I used tim holtz label stickers.

Summer is fun

Hello Scrappy friends
How's everyone! Today I have a layout to share that I just created . I was inspired by the sketch over at Scraps & More Sketches for their sketch #85 (sketch below), and also inspired by this summer challenge over at Frosted Designs. And I am also sharing this over at The Memory Nest for their crafty creations no.20. I used this photo of my brother in law and my daughter from last summer. Hope you like!

I started with the colorbok cardstock paper for my background, then I added some molding paste with stencil for some texture in the background, then layered papers from recollections and American crafts and then I outlined them with American crafts slick writer black pen, for my title I used three different kind of American crafts thickers
then I also added some American crafts embellishments like that yellow doily and a little tag with the word happy together, then I also added autocollants feather from me and my big ideas, then the scallop circle with the word hello summer and the pinwheel is from crate paper the pier collection, and then added some sequins my fav then some misting using black velvet and mustard color shine by Heidi Swapp.

Dream

Hello everyone!
Today I have a layout to share with you! I have so much fun creating this mixed media layout that I could not stop, lol! I was inspired by the sketch challenge over at Sketchabilities sketch#117 (sketch below), and combining this over at Scrap Africa challenge #30 "Scrap your Stash". Hope you like it!

I started with the american crafts paper for my background and then paint it with gesso, then I added some blue ink that I have forever, and then watercolor pink blue and some yellow and added water for some cool effect on the background, then randomly added some different kind of stamps on the page, and I also used stencil and modeling paste to add some more texture.
the papers I layered behind the photo are all my paper stash from previous layouts, I distress the edges of all the papers and inked them using pink ink from studio g, I also added this ruler trim from recollection that I have in my stash for a long time, and some washi tape. butterflies and flowers are all from my stash, the white frame with the word dream is by jillibean soup.

Sweet pea/ Lets Get Sketchy DT Reveal

Hello Scrappy friends
Happy Monday!Hope everything is fine! Today its another new sketch challenge at Lets Get Sketchy for this week 4 sketch. And here is my simple layout, I hope I get you inspired!

I started with the white cardstock for my background, then I used stencil and pink ink to create texture into the background, then I used American crafts and some are by Hiedi Swapp papers then layered, distress and outlined all the papers
 Then I create a polaroid frame using fiskars stamps where my photo is, I also added some butterflies from stash and small flowers from prima and some sequins. for my title I used American crafts letter stickers.

Laugh, play, enjoy/ Scrap Our Stash DT Reveal

Hello Scrappy friends
How's everyone, I hope everything is fine! Today I have a layout to share with you for a mid-month challenge over at Scrap Our Stash sketch with stash challenge #15 and we are teaming up with Child's Play "Tie Dye" inspiration challenge.

Create a layout with this sketch and you must include enamel dots or sequins and two different types of alphas

Its another fun challenge!
For this challenge I started with white cardstock for my background, then I used my clear block and stamped tim holtz distress ink into the block and sprayed it with water and then I stamped it into the background paper to create a watercolor look to meet the requirements of the Tie Dye inspiration challenge at Child's Play. The distress ink I used are peacock feathers, worn lipstick, and tumbled glass.
Next I splatters some ink that was left over from the block and added lots of sequins, my favorite embellishment to put into my layout this days. for the title I used two different types of alphas by recollections and American crafts thickers.

Building blocks

Hello Scrappy Friends
How's everyone! Today I have a layout to share with you that I just created for My Scraps & More Sketches #84 (sketch below), and also I'm entering this over at Red Carpet Studio for their challenge #72 "Hairspray" the challenge is to create a project that includes ribbon in some way. Hope you like :)!

I used American crafts papers I distress the edges and outlined the circles and other embellishments, in the left side where I added the ribbons (not much though) and some words stickers by k & company and added one little girl wood veneer.
I also splatters some black velvet color shine by Heidi Swapp and some sequins, and also outlined with my black sharpie pen in some chevron patterned in the background, for my title I used American crafts letter stickers and recollections letter stickers and also outlined them.

Life adventure/ Stuck? Sketches DT Reveal

Here are some of my close up
I used American crafts papers and distress the edges, except the yellow papers is from Heidi Swapp and also the arrows by the photos, and I also splatters some of her black velvet color shine, the other big splatters are splatter stamps by bo bunny
This title is from tim holtz rub ons, and the flowers are also rub ons from jenni bowlin studio, and I also added black sequins, the yellow ticket and clock is from stash, I also added some washi tape by the bottom of the first photo and in the right side of the second photo, and the the brads is from studio g.

Happy

Hello Scrappy friends
How's everyone today! I have a new layout to share with you that I created for two challenges, first challenge is over at Scrap & Music for their sketch #29 " Happy". Then, the next challenge is at Scrap & Play for their challenge #3 Bingo game. Hope you like it!

I used the middle row down: bling, enamel dots and mist

I started with American crafts paper for my background, then I apply some gesso into the page and I also used modeling paste with stencil, also added random stamping, and added misting using Heidi Swapp color shine, and then ink all the edges of the papers using Tim Holts Victorian velvet distress ink.
also added some enamel dots from recollections, and swirl bling by the flowers, the flowers are from my stash and fussy cut some but the big zipper flower is by prima. My title is American crafts thickers, and the word (this is life) and arrow is a rub on from Tim Holtz.

Family/123 Get Scrappy DT Reveal

Hello scrappy friends
I'm back again with another new challenge #11 at 123 Get Scrappy for this month of June. Hope I get you inspired and play along with us!

I started with this woodgrain paper background from American crafts, then I used modeling paste with stencil to create some texture to the background, then added some watercolor
the rest of the papers and embellishments are from Heidi Swapp and also the title, except the flowers are from prima.
