Today I have a quick layout to share that I created last night for ScrapFriends color challenge #21. Here, I played with my water colors using my daughter's photo. Enjoy!

I used white cardstock for my background and then used three colors of watercolor and then I used different kinds of stencil, gesso and molding paste to add some texture into the background, I also used different kinds of stamps. the purple leaves is I used the stencil to trace with my black pen then I fussy cut them and add some watercolor.

My little ponies

Hello Scrappy friends!

How's everyone, I hope everything's is fine! It's been a busy week for me, and today I finally finished this page for My Creative Sketches for their January sketch challenge (sketch below). I used my daughter's photo with her little ponies. Hope you like it!

I used dear lizzy lucky charm collection by American crafts papers, distress the edges and inked them using recollection chalk ink, flowers are from michaels store and fussy cuts the other flowers from the papers, the small swirl bling that I added is also from recollections, the small butterflies are from studio calico, I also added a little bit of misting using Heidi swap color shine. The title is from me and my big ideas letter stickers.

Hello sunshine/ Scrap our Stash DT Reveal

Hello everyone!

Today I have a layout to share for the DT Reveal of Scrap our Stash January 15th sketch challenge #11, using the Scrap-room sketch ( sketch below)and adding pre-made/packaged numbers on your layout.

In this sketch challenge I used my daughter photos from last summer, and I also used American crafts my girl paper collection, then the title is my first cut from my new cameo, so excited about that and I love it, then I water color the title with light blue and yellow, I also water color the small clouds and splatters some in the page, and the rest of the embellishment is from my stash, and the numbers is from the dear lizzy fox thickers by American crafts..

Hello everyone!

I have here a quick layout to share that I created for two challenges, First challenge is over at Life, Paper, Scrapbook for their January sketch challenge (sketch below), and then over at Frosted Designs for their  Friday challenge "Polka Dots".

I used American crafts papers the yes please collection, and cut outs hearts from dcwv papers, I also added some splatters to the page using, coral and primrose color shine by Heidi swap, and also added some bling and buttons from my stash, and I hand stitched the square design in the background using dark pink thread, and for my title I used mosaic thickers by American crafts.

123 Get Scrappy Design team call

Welcome to 123 Get Scrappy

We have a wonderful bunch of ladies on our Design Team. Unfortunately all of them cannot stay for another term. So, we are looking for a couple of new faces!

 

KEEP IN MIND

We are a scrapbook layout and/or mini album challenge blog. These are the only two creations that can be entered in our challenges. These are the only two things that can be created by our Design Team for this blog. I love cards and make them often, but we are NOT a card challenge blog. :)

The term will be:

March - August

Requirements:

~You must have a Face book account. We have a private group on FB where all the upcoming challenges are posted, we post our favorites and creations are posted for me to add to the challenge. Creations must be loaded to the FB group by the 5th of the month that you are creating for (in other words, 5 days before the challenge is due to give me time to make the post)

~You have to have had a blog for at least 1 year and be active in posting to that blog.

~You must create once a month for our challenges.

~ You must be available to comment on creations. There's nothing I dislike more than entering a challenge on someone's blog and no one commenting on my entry. That is just not nice. So, this is a big MUST!

~ International applicants welcome!

 

If you are interested, all you have to do is: 

*Become a follower of our blog.

  * Post about our Design Team Call on your blog to get the word out.

* Send me an email at forcrafting{at}yahoo{dot}com with the following information:

1. Your full name and where you are from

2. A link to your blog

3. Pics of 3 of your favorite layouts and/or mini albums. Recent creations are preferred.

4. Any current design teams you are a part of (Design Team experience is not a requirement)

5. A short bio telling us about your crafty story/background.

* You have until February 5th (at midnight Central time zone) to apply.

The new members will be notified by February 10th and given the March challenge board to begin creating.

New DT members will be revealed with the March 10th Challenge.

* Remember, this is a 6 month commitment. Please be aware and only apply if you truly believe you will be able to commit to this term.

Hello!

Here I am again for another layout to share! I want to share this layout for two challenges, the first one is over at Lets Get Sketchy for their January week 1 sketch challenge ( sketch below), and the second one is over at 123 Get Scrappy for their January challenge #6.

I used the first line: tear the edges, key and lots of bling

I used Heidi swap papers, I distress the edges and tear some of it and also inked the edges using recollections bubblegum chalk ink. and I also used recollections bling I used lots of it, the flowers is also from recollections and added buttons on the center od the flowers

the key is from studio g, the title is from my stash that I colored with my black pen, and also added some stamping into the background using stampin' up French script stamp.

I played with my water color in the background and I love how it turned out, I used recollections papers and die cuts, and added some splatters using Heidi swap color shine, and also I love to add some sequins. for the title I used American crafts letter stickers that I inked the edges and American crafts thickers.

Hello everyone!

It's been a couples of days I never uploaded a new pages here in my blog its because of my computer crashed, and now thanks to my hubby he finally fixed it. So, Today I have a new layout I want to share for  Lets Get Sketchy Issue 2 of Cover Girl Search. And you have to pick which sketch is your favorite, and I picked the first sketch (sketch below).

I used dcwv papers and cuts out, I distress the edges of the papers and used ranger sugar spun distress ink,the flowers is from recollections , I also added bakers twine around the photo and also added some pink ribbon and staple to attach my design, and to add some texture to the background i used molding paste and Heidi swap peach color shine and combine them together and used a circle stencil, and also added sequins to the background. the gold bird that i added is by jolee's boutique. for my title i used American crafts lullaby thickers, and then in the journaling spot i used cosmo cricket tiny text and added distress ink on the edges.

I used K&company papers and DCWV papers and tear them and distress the edges, and also added some texture to the page i used heidi swapp stencil and gel mediums molding paste, and sprayed and splatters some tattered angels glimmer mist, then i fussy cuts some swirl design from the dcwv paper, i also added black lace into the layered papers.

"I used a picture of my daughter, which was perfect for the layout I had in mind.  

So this what I came up with for the countdown challenge: 

(5) Sassafras stitched die-cut blooms

(4) American Crafts pattern papers

 (2) Heidi Swapp epoxy sticker hearts 

 (1) rub-on from my stash...it's the one that says I (Heart)U.

Playing in the snow/ Stuck?! DT Reveal

Happy new year everyone!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe holidays!. New year, New challenge of the year 2014! Here is the new sketch of Stuck?!Sketches ,and you have to use ink, mist and or paint in your pages.

And this is my daughter loves to play in the snow, we have to drove for half an hour or so to see a snow up on the mountain where we live,because we don't get to have a snow in the valley. and so there she is enjoying the snow.

I used recollections papers, tags and a white frame that i put in the middle photo, i also added some white thread and a snow flakes, then i splatters lots of white acrylic paint into the page like a falling snow. For my title i used white glittery thickers by american crafts and basicgrey letter stickers.
